Well written and researched, Mysteries of the Middle Ages: And the Beginning of the Modern World (Hinges of History) is a study of the contributions and influences in the areas of science, art, education, and philosophy (feministic thought) brought about by the Catholic Church that ultimately formed the basis of the Renaissance in Western civilization.
